Blink: shut and open both eyes quickly; the involuntary rapid opening and closing of the eyes

Wink: close and open one eye quickly, typically to indicate that something is a joke or a secret or as a signal of affection or greeting

  • He winked to let her know he was only joking.
  • He winked at all the girls he liked the look of.
